Trillogy ...

Colleen Elvidge began her solo career with an appearance as a guest soloist with Southend Boys Choir at the South Bank Theatre, London.

Born and brought up in Leigh-on-Sea where she lives with her husband and three children, she is currently studying a music degree with Open University and works as a music specialist at a local primary school.

Colleen has many solo recitals to her name, which enable her to perform a varied repertoire which includes art songs, operatic arias and songs from musical theatre, many of which benefit local charities. Colleenís first operatic role was as Michaela in Bizetís Carmen. She has also performed many of the best loved sacred works, including Handelís Messiah, Vivaldi Gloria, Rutterís Requiem & Mendelssohnís Elijah. Colleen was a soloist for the first performance in this area of the newly discovered Handel Gloria. Particular highlights also include singing at the Millenium Dome as part of a production depicting Southendís history, as well as performing in the Church of our Lady in Bruges.

Colleen is very proud to be a part of Trillogy and particularly enjoys the fun and laughter had during rehearsals!
